An alternative place for late night eats after the bars closes compared to all of the many pizza places. Get there right before the last call as the lines and the wait is so long. Averages 20 minutes to get wings once ordered. Wings are on the smaller side and fried very crispy. I don't know how I can eat these wings sober though. It's the only place in Dewey that I can think of that has wings. Cash only!

I parties like a rock star at the Rusty Rudder and stumbled upon wings to go. I hardly remember ordering wings but I remember eating on my motel bed and thinking... What is up with all the hype?? Wings were the opposite of juicy, was ridiculously dry an drenched in salty sauce. I mean, it is definitely a better option than the Grotto pizza but then what isn't better than the Grotto's.

1) Get plastered at The Starboard. 2) Stumble to Wings To Go. Spicy Honey Garlic is where its at. Oh and the fries are like the battered and fried ones from Costco. MM-MM. Caution- may not have the same effect if consumed in a sober state.

This is a restaurant from my childhood. I once drove from Fairfax Virginia to Dewey Beach for these wings. Times have changed. This was never a place that I would have expected great service from as it is basically a take out joint with a few picnic tables but the young lady taking my order did not seem capable of any conversation. We ordered three types of wings, buffalo shrimp, onion rings and garbage fries. suicide wings - laughably not hot. I wondered if they selected the wrong sauce. Not very spicy and not much flavor. My son went in and asked for an extra sauce of the homicide (the hottest) and was told it cost another 75 cents. I said forget it after having spent $80 already. Buffalo garlic - not much spice but a little more flavor then the suicide. Still not enough sauce for my liking. Mild - did not taste but I believe they were ok given the review of our daughters friend. Buffalo shrimp - not enough sauce or flavor and the breading got pretty soggy. Definitely not worth it. Onion rings - ok but I would bet you the cost if thus lunch they were frozen from Sysco. Garbage fries - they were just plain fries. I think they got the order wrong but I didn't figure this out before the kids ate half and I decided not to put up a fuss. To be fair the wings were all good sized and cooked well. All in all super disappointed. I will not be back. If this is what people think are good wings I need some of what they are smoking.

Wings not all that great. Service is slow and not so nice. But the donuts!!! The donuts are the best. Always hot and made to order.

The food is good for a late night fix esp when you don't want pizza (which is what most of the town is offering at that hour). I like the sweet and sour wings and fries with cheese sauce. (these are different from the $8 cheese fries!). I have had regular wings and they are very dry as others have mentioned. I have also tried the cheese bites which are very tasty....made with swiss cheese instead of mozzarella. The service at this location is awful. The staff here could care less about being there. It's a hangout for them and their friends. I have never been there where the staff isn't standing behind the counter eating. Receiving your order takes forever. I have started calling my order in ahead of time. Especially if you're going after midnight on a weekend, call ahead. Your food still won't be ready but at least you reduce the time you have to wait! This location does not take credit cards. There is also no seating inside. There are some picnic tables on the side of the restaurant.

Maybe we caught them on a bad day but I wasn't a fan. Took a long time to get the order ready and none of the wings had any sauce on them hardly at all. On top of that they charge for extra sauce. These could be decent if they had a bit more sauce on them and they are a bit on the pricy side as far as a wing stand goes. If I was super hammered when I went here which is their target demographic I suppose I would have enjoyed them more but I was sober so my bad. Close to a 3 but that wouldn't be fair to other places I rate as a 3.

We really wanted wings when we went to Dewey so we went to Wings to Go. It was hard to find only because Google Maps said that it was a block away from our hotel on Clayton Street when it was actually about 4 blocks away. But once we got there we ordered 10 Honey BBQ, 10 Hot, 5 Teriakyi and 5 Honey Dijon. It took awhile to get them but once we did it was WORTH IT. I'm not a wing girl but I ordered some boneless ones anyway and they were delicious. The Teriakyi were amazing and I had a little extra sauce to dip my other wings in. Everyone loved every sauce that we had and was satisfied. While we were waiting they even made us some doughnuts to sample that were also hot and fresh though we didn't buy any. I would definitely go back and we almost did right before we headed home! GO THERE!

I can only assume that they must have been dealing with rowdy drunk people all day on the Sunday before the 4th of July, so they sort of have my sympathy here. When we called in our order following a massive craving for chicken fingers, we realized it was so loud in there that they could hardly hear us. As a result, they screwed up our order, and gave us plain wings. (Who the heck wants plain wings?) We mentioned this, calmly and politely, and well... I assume he is the manager or something, he came out of the back, held up the order they had scrawled down and proceeded to yell at us, "THE PLACE IS CALLED WINGS TO GO! WE MAKE WINGS. YOU SAID PLAIN, SO WE GAVE YOU WINGS." Wait, does that make sense? Maybe the rowdy drunk person in this story was actually working behind the counter. We apologized for the confusion and asked if we could trade in our order for fingers. The answer was no. Or, "NO!" as the fat old man said, walking away from us. So they gave us the wrong order, wouldn't correct it, and wouldn't take it back, and yelled at us for their mistake. What lovely people.

This is a summer tradition for my family and I. We spend August in Bethany Beach and faithfully make the 20 minute drive to get these wings multiple times a week. They are the perfect size and the wide range of sauces are awesome...they start at Mild and go all the way up to either Suicide or Homicide (I can't remember which one is hotter). They aren't as hot as they'd sound so I'd go one hotness level up from what you'd normally want. You get them to-go in a styrofoam container and enjoy. Perfect beach food.
